When asked about Kieran upadrasta’s charity vision for helping
women, vulnerable people in need, he said, "Vision is to build a community
that has zero tolerance for violence and provides a safe shelter for women
living in abusive relationships. When it comes to abuse, women believe there's
no way out and there is always help. There is always a way out. To prevent
violence and abuse and provide services to meet the individual needs of
survivors, particularly women and children, my charity work is holistic and
empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from
abuse."
Speaking to the media Kieran Upadrasta said "Violence
against vulnerable people is perhaps the most shameful human rights violation,
and it is perhaps the most pervasive. It knows no boundaries of geography,
culture, or wealth. As long as it continues, we cannot claim to be making real
progress towards equality, development and peace."
